Downshire held their Annual End of Season Prize giving at Lisburn Golf Club on Friday 21st May and Major Upgrade Work starts on playing pitch.

Last week also the Contractors moved in to carry out major improvements to the pitch drainage and playing surface. The work costs in the region of £10,000 and is funded by the Alpha Project, Groundworks NI and the Club itself. Work should be completed by 28th May and pitch available by end of July, weather permitting (bad weather that is to make the grass grow) |
