| Downshire complete Derby Double over neighbours |

Downshire completed their second derby double in 3 years over Lisburn Rangers last Saturday
After wining at home by 3 goals to 2 in the second match of the season, Downshire travelled to Dunmurry on Saturday and completed the double. This time the game was decided by a Johnny Gibson blast from the edge of the box which cannoned in off the crossbar midway through the first half. The result was never in doubt and although Downshire played the final 40 minutes with 10 men, their defence was never really troubled. |
